A Trip To PIAA Singles Tournament Ahead For Li
Sophomore Anna Li earned a trip to the PIAA Individual Tournament with a win in today’s Class AAA Consolation match in the WPIAL Individual Championships. Li defeated Fox Chapel’s Laurel Shymansky by scores of 6-3, 6-1. It was a measure of revenge for Li who fell to Shymansky in the opening round of the WPIAL singles tournament last year. The PIAA Singles/Doubles Tournament will take place on October 31.
