Ayden Owens Sets New State Record, Wins National Title
North Allegheny senior, and University of Southern California commit, Ayden Owens won a national title and broke a state record at the New Balance Indoor Nationals on Sunday. Owens won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.59 seconds, besting the previous state record of 7.62 which was set by Deworski Odom of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia.
The New Balance meet was held at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York.
