Bella Falo Scores 100th Career Goal In Blowout Win At Hempfield

Senior Bella Falo scored her 100th career goal and the Tigers rolled over the Hempfield Spartans for a 16-9 non-section victory on the road on Tuesday night. Falo netted a pair of goals to reach the century mark as the Tigers won in a rout over the Spartans.

The Tigers jumped out to a 10-4 lead by halftime and cruised to the win in second half. Senior attack Emma Lafayette paced NA with a team-high four goals and junior Charlotte Schreiber posted a hat trick. Junior Rebecca Oates netted a pair of goals, while junior Mila Prusak, junior Laurel Donley, freshman Madelyn Lemmon, senior Amelia Henderson and sophomore Isla Abrams all tallied markers in the win.

Sophomore Ava Lindsay contributed with a strong ground game with four caused turnovers and five ground balls. Sophomore goalie Izzie Trunzo earned the victory with eight saves in net.

Hempfield’s bright spot was provided by senior Amara Forsyth, a Seton Hill commit, who netted a team-best four goals and one assist for the Spartans.

North Allegheny improves to 10-5 overall with the win and will visit Peters Township on Thursday night in the regular season finale.
