Bella Walter Advances To PIAA Individual Finals
It was a delayed start due to frost at the PIAA West Region Gold Championships on Tuesday at Tom’s Run Golf Course in Blairsville. Despite a chilly morning, North Allegheny senior Bella Walter continued her hot play in the postseason by shooting a 5-over 77, good for a first-place tie with Peters Township junior Ella McRoberts. Walter qualifies for the PIAA individual championship at Heritage Hills Golf Course in York on Oct. 21-22.
