Five members of the North Allegheny girls’ lacrosse team have been named to Section 2-AAA All-Section Team, including three first-team honorees.

Earning first-team accolades were senior attack Skye DePrado, and senior midfielders Katie Oates and Lola Wilhite. The senior all-section triumvirate of DePrado, Oates and Wilhite played key roles in powering North Allegheny’s explosive offense. DePrado totaled a team-high 95 goals and finished with 182 goals for her career. Oates was fourth on the team in goals scored with 35 markers and also surpassed the century mark with 101 career tallies. Wilhite was second on the squad in goals with 67 and posted 13 hat tricks along the way this season.

Second-team all-section laurels went to junior Allison Lyon, who anchored the Tigers midfield and scored seven goals. Junior attack Bella Falo was recognized as an all-section honorable mention selection. Falo finished third on the team in goals scored with 40 and tallied eight hat tricks this season.

All of these players were significant contributors to North Allegheny’s best season in program history. The Tigers concluded the year with an impressive 15-4 record and reached the WPIAL Class AAA quarterfinals before bowing out to eventual champion, Shady Side Academy.
