Forys, Woodley Named All-Americans At National Event
North Allegheny’s Dom Forys and Jake Woodley came away with impressive showings at the Junior/Cadet Freestyle Nationals in Fargo, North Dakota between July 24-26. Forys, who finished up his senior season this past winter at NA, took third place at Junior Freestyle at the 126 weight division. Woodley, who is entering his sophomore campaign this school year, took seventh place in Cadet Freestyle at the 152 pound level. Both wrestlers earned All-American honors. Junior Sean Kalmeyer qualified but did not place.
Forys will be a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh this year and leaves North Allegheny with 163 wins, the most of any wrestler in school history.
