Four members of the WPIAL champion North Allegheny girls’ soccer team have named All-WPIAL. Senior forwards Emma Bundy and Ava Ruppersberger, along with junior forward Sarah Schupansky and junior goalie Madison Vukas received All-WPIAL laurels from the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association.

Bundy, a Duquesne University commit, netted 10 goals on the season, good for second best on the team. Ruppersberger was third on the squad in scoring with nine goals, including the game-winning marker against Cumberland Valley in the first round of the PIAA playoffs.

Schupanksy was the team’s top scorer for 2019 with 23 goals, including the first goal in NA’s 2-0 WPIAL championship win over Norwin. Vukas notched nine shutouts and posted 16 shutouts in the past two seasons combined.

With the help of these four outstanding players, the Tigers had their best season in program history. North Allegheny went 18-3-1 and earned its first undefeated section championship along with its first-ever WPIAL crown.
