Golfer Ryan Meyer Tabbed AMCC Newcomer of the Year

Penn State Behrend freshman men’s golfer Ryan Meyer (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) was named the 2019 All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Newcomer of the Year, while also receiving All-AMCC second-team laurels.

Meyer was the leading freshman and fourth overall in the AMCC with a 79.0 average. The newcomer competed in all 12 rounds this season. He was runner up at the Altoona Invitational and the James Bowen Invitational with a season-low score of 75. Meyer finished the season at the AMCC Championships, placing 12th overall with a 167 total.
