Lady Tigers Bow Out Of PIAA Playoffs With Loss To Hempfield
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision on Saturday afternoon against the Hempfield Black Knights in the quarterfinal round of the PIAA playoffs. The District 3 champions earned the victory by set scores of 25-15, 25-20 and 25-21.
The loss ends the Lady Tigers’ season with a record of 19-2. North Allegheny won a Section 3-AAA title with a perfect 12-0 record and reached the WPIAL title match for the third straight season. Congratulations to coach Heidi Miller and the Lady Tigers for another fantastic season.
