Lady Tigers Roll Over Rams, 153-211
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team earned another section victory on Wednesday afternoon with a 153-211 victory over Pine-Richland at Conley’s Golf Course.
Senior Caroline Wrigley once again led the way for the Lady Tigers with an even par 36. Senior Christina Lewis added a 37 and junior Bella Walter tallied a 39. Junior Esha Vaidya rounded out the scoring with a 41 for NA. Pine-Richland was paced by Lauren Freyvogel, the reining PIAA individual champion, who shot a 2-under par 34.
North Allegheny improves to 15-0 overall and 10-0 in the section. The Lady Tigers visit Bethel Park in a non-section affair on Friday.
