Lady Tigers Sink Seneca Valley, 59-39
The North Allegheny Girls Basketball Team won their 11th straight with a 59-39 victory over the Seneca Valley Raiders on Thursday night. The Lady Tigers raced to a 17-4 first quarter lead en route to the victory and had four players reach double digits. Sophomore Taylor Lake led the way with 17 points and senior Taylor Brennan followed with 14 points. Abby Gonzales and Danielle Wall netted 10 points apiece.
The win lifts the Lady Tigers to a 12-1 overall mark and 7-0 record in Section 3-AAAA. Seneca Valley drops to 5-8 overall and 3-4 within the section. North Allegheny returns to action next week with a road contest against the Oakland Catholic Eagles on Monday night. Start time is slated for 7:30 pm. Seneca Valley takes part in the Pittsburgh Classic at Ambridge on Saturday.
