Lady Tigers Sweep Oakland Catholic In WPIAL First Round
Gunning for an unprecedented fourth-straight Class AAA state championship, the North Allegheny girls’ tennis team swept the Oakland Catholic Eagles on Wednesday afternoon, 5-0, in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs. The top-ranked Lady Tigers will host the Montour Spartans Thursday in the WPIAL quarterfinals. The ninth-seeded Spartans are coming off a road win at Franklin Regional by a 4-1 final.
