The sixth-seeded Lady Tigers hosted the 11th-seeded Lady Raiders of Seneca Valley at Graham Park in the opening round of the WPISL playoffs. The Lady Tigers set the tone early and often and jumped out to a commanding 16-2 lead through 3 innings.  However, as Seneca Valley had shown in two prior regular season contests that they were a resilient group and whittled the NA lead down to 16-9. Having stranded runners in several consecutive innings, the Lady Tigers tightened their defense and closed out the game with a 16-12 victory, with the final out being a play at home plate. Senior Jordyn Zilian made the put-out at home on a great throw from 3rd base by senior Carly Martin.

Leading the Lady Tigers on offense were senior Carly Kovalchik who went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, junior Julia Lagnese who went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI’s, senior Jordyn Lilienthal who went 3 for 4 with 1 RBI, senior Lacey Stalter who went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, senior Carly Martin who went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, junior Kayla MacDonald who went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s, and senior Paulette Rollant who went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’s.

The Lady Tigers advance to the quarterfinal round to face the third-seeded Mt. Pleasant Lady Vikings.
