Martindale Named Female Athlete of the Year by Armstrong Cable
North Allegheny two-sport star Rachel Martindale was recently named the Female Athlete of the Year by Armstrong Cable. She is the first North Allegheny athlete to receive this award.
Martindale recently helped lead the North Allegheny girls’ basketball to back-to-back WPIAL championships before falling to a knee injury in the title game in March which forced her to miss the spring softball season. Despite the injury, postseason accolades have continued to come in for the talented junior this school year.
