Two North Allegheny girls’ soccer players signed their letters of intent on National Signing Day on Wednesday. Seniors Megan Miller (Lock Haven University) and Halle Marsalis (Chatham University) made their college choices official to continue their soccer and academic careers.

Miller, an All-WPIAL selection by the Western Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association, was the Tigers starting goalkeeper and helped NA to a single-season program record 14 shutouts this season. Miller will continue her career at the NCAA Division II level with Lock Haven in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). Miller will major in Business Administration.

Marsalis was a stalwart in the midfield for North Allegheny, scoring a pair of goals and helping the Tigers maintain a heavy time of possession throughout her career. Marsalis earned first-team all-section honors from the Big 56 Conference a season ago and is likely in line to garner similar accolades later this month. She’ll continue her career at Chatham University, which recently won a second consecutive conference title in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC – NCAA Division III) with a thrilling 4-3 double overtime win over Westminster on Saturday. Marsalis will major in Physical Therapy.

Both Miller and Marsalis played a part in North Allegheny’s 16-1-1 record in 2021, as well as back-to-back WPIAL titles in 2019 and 2020.
