The Tigers unleashed the Kraken this week and rolled through the Titans soundly beating the visiting team 2748 to 2012 pins. The Boys’ team earned all seven match points. The Tigers started strong with three bowlers achieving 200 pins by the end of the first game: junior Alex Cook (242), senior Matt Secen (222), and senior T.J. Robinson (200). Senior Mark Zahren joined the ranks leading all bowlers for game 2 (202), with senior Griffin McVay (205) finished strong leading all bowlers for the last game of the match. Both Secen and Zahren rolled their highest 3 game series this week.

Personal Bests were achieved by senior Justin Sparto, junior David Limauro, and freshman Patrick Maffei.

The Girls’ team didn’t fare as well losing 0-7 to the Lady Titans. Sophomore Julia Jorden led the Tigers with a 432. Senior Cassidy Heim recorded a season high series this week (330). The Lady Tigers slip to 4-3 for the season and currently sit in second place in the WPIBL North, just ahead of the Fightin’ Planets from Mars High School. NA travels to Mars Lanes next week for a head-to-head competition with their team’s playoff future on the line.

With only three matches remaining in the regular season, Cook, McVay, Robinson, Zahren along with freshmen Andrew Cook and Dylan Scheidler are one step closer to qualifying for the WPIBL Boys Singles Championships; Jorden for the WPIBL Girls Individual Championships.
