NA Boys & Girls Both Capture Bronze At WPIAL Championships
On a clear day at Cooper’s Lake, both North Allegheny cross country teams ran extremely well and qualified for the PIAA championships next week. The NA boys took third place at the WPIAL Class AAA championships on Thursday afternoon with a team score of 105. In similar fashion, the Lady Tigers seized earned a bronze medal with a team score of 74.
Individually, sophomores Daniel McGoey and Clara Savchik both garnered WPIAL bronze with third place showings for the boys and girls, respectively. Additionally, sophomore Hannah Lindgren checked in with a fifth place finish for the Lady Tigers. For complete results from the WPIAL championships, click here.
The Tigers will compete next at the PIAA championships on Saturday, November 4.
