NA Cheerleaders Win WPIAL Title
The North Allegheny Varsity Competition cheerleaders traveled to Hempfield High School today for the 2016 WPIAL Cheerleading Championship. The team competed in the Medium Varsity category and were vying for the AAA title as well. After a highly energetic, near flawless performance, the team anxiously awaited the results at the end of the day. The team scored the highest overall score of the day (262.5), came out victorious in the Medium Varsity division and was the overall WPIAL Champion for Class AAA. This qualifies the cheerleaders for the PIAA tournament where they will compete for the title of PIAA State Cheerleading Champions on January 22nd and 23rd in Hershey.
