The Tigers remained undefeated and moved into sole possession of first place with an exciting 1-0 victory over Seneca Valley on Saturday night. The game was evenly played in the first half with very few opportunities. About half way through the first half, Alexa Mermigas shot from 30 yards out and goalie Jessica Neill just tipped it over the net.  On the ensuing corner kick, Amanda Miler just missed a deflection and the game remained scoreless at halftime.

The pace picked up in the second half with the Tigers narrowly missing on a couple of opportunities. Ryleigh Gapczynki missed an open net after Seneca Valley thought there would be an offside call. With ten minutes left, Mermigas was robbed by goalie Jessica Neil. The Raiders had a couple of chances late but goalie Madison Martin kept the ball out of the net.  In the 78th minute the Tigers scored the only goal when Megan Van Kirk broke down the far side line and centered to Lauren Briggs.  Briggs was able to deflect it on goal but Neill could not control the rebound and Miller was able to put it into the back of the net for the winning goal.  With the goal also came the Wright Automotive player of the game to Amanda Miller.

The Tigers improve to 9-0 and 5-0 in Section 2-AAA and will travel to North Hills on Monday for another section match up. Seneca Valley drops to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in section play.
