The North Allegheny girls’ basketball team rallied to force overtime against Elizabeth Seton (MD) but fell 46-40 on Saturday at the MLK Tournament at Woodland Hills High School. In the extra session, Elizabeth Seton outscored NA, 12-6, to claim the win.
NA trailed 28-21 after three quarters but the Tigers roared back in the fourth period to tie the game at 34-34. Sophomore Emma Fischer led the Tigers with 12 points and poured in three 3-pointers. Freshman Jasmine Timmerson chipped in with nine points.
