Lady Tigers Prevail Over Peters Township
In a highly anticipated non-section matchup, the North Allegheny girls’ golf team thwarted the talented Peters Township Indians on Thursday afternoon, 154-179. There were plenty of low scores produced and NA freshman Esha Vaidya topped the scorecard with a 1-under par 35. Sophomores Caroline Wrigley and Christina Lewis each shot a 37, while Kennedy Urban rounded out the scoring with a 45.
Other strong performances included Jessica Hood who shot a 41 and Maureen Walsh who checked in with a 43. Peters Township was led by Mia Kness who shot a 38.
North Allegheny remains unbeaten on the season with a 6-0 overall record. The Lady Tigers return to action on Monday with a visit to Mt. Lebanon. Tee time is set for 3:30 p.m.
