NA Gymnasts Leap To Victory At Quad-Meet
In a home quad-meet on Tuesday night, the North Allegheny Gymnastics Team bested the competition with a team score of 141.8. Following the Lady Tigers lead, Central Valley finished with a team score of 128.85, South Side Beaver totaled 120.75 and Hopewell tallied a team score of 115.15.
North Allegheny was led by sophomore Leah Elmore who posted an all-around score of 37.4. Elmore posted team highs on the bars (9.5), beam (8.8) and floor (9.5) competitions. Junior Danijela Jergan paced NA in the vault with a score of 9.7. Freshman Maddie Mianzo and sophomore Kylie Radick had strong nights by scoring 34.45 and 33.75, respectively. Following the quad-meet, the Lady Tigers improve to 9-0 on the season and will visit Moon on Friday, January 31. Start time is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
