NA Gymnasts Open Season At Moon
The North Allegheny gymnastics team opened the 2016 season on Thursday at Moon and narrowly fell to the host Tigers, 138.85-129.625.
North Allegheny’s top performer was junior Taylor Bertini who tallied an all-around score of 33.6. Bertini paced NA in the bar (8.65) and floor (8.75) events. Freshman Alicia Hinnebusch posted the team’s top scores in the vault and beam competitions with scores of 9 and 8.3, respectively. For a complete look at NA’s scoring against Moon, click here.
The NA gymnasts will return to action on January 19 at Central Valley for a tri-meet with CV and West Allegheny.
