NA Gymnasts Take Two In Season Opener
The North Allegheny Gymnastics Team opened the season on Monday night with a tri-meet victory over Pine-Richland and Fox Chapel. The Lady Tigers led the way with 142.45 points, followed by Pine-Richland’s 132.55, and Fox Chapel’s 130.1.
North Allegheny dominated its opponents across the board, posting the meet-high total in all events. Individually, Danijela Jergan had the top score with 36.95, followed closely by Leah Elmore who posted a score of 36.65. Sophomore Kylie Radick and freshman Taylor Bertini, Becca Boyd, and Maddie Mianzo all contributed with outstanding routines to help round out the team score. The Lady Tigers will next face Baldwin on Friday, December 27 at 7:00 pm for their first away meet of the season.
