NA hangs on for 3-2 win over Mars
North Allegheny extended their winning streak to four matches as they took down Mars 3-2 in section play on Wednesday.
The Lady Tigers got a big win from No. 3 single Jenny Zhu who tallied a 6-0, 6-0 sweep over Lauren Mike.
The NA doubles pairs were dominant in this match. Claire Shao and Emily Wincko were able to defeat Emma Nelson and Julia McCarly 6-3, 6-3 while Abbey Swirsding and Ashley Chung picked up a 6-3, 6-2 win over Rya Cherlukde and Alexandra Knotts.
The win improves North Allegheny’s record to 5-2, 2-0 in the section. The Lady Tigers return home on Tuesday to take on Butler at 3:30 pm.
