NA Swings By Shaler For Section Win
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team welcomed the Shaler Titans to Pittsburgh North Golf Course on Thursday afternoon and performed well en route to 162-225 victory.
Junior Christina Lewis led the way with a fine round of 36. Esha Vaidya and Caroline Wrigley each shot a 41 to build a sizeable lead for the Tigers. Jordan Farrell rounded out the scoring with a 44. Shaler’s top scorer was Anna Grzegorczyk with a 52.
Remaining perfect on the season, North Allegheny improves to 10-0 overall and 4-0 in section action. The Tigers will tee it up again at home on Wednesday, September 13 in a tri-match with Blackhawk and Bethel Park.
