NA Volleyballers Earn Top Seed In WPIAL Playoffs
The WPIAL released its playoff pairings for girls’ volleyball on Friday afternoon and North Allegheny, the four-time reigning PIAA champions, earned the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye in the Class AAAA bracket. The Tigers will host a quarterfinal round matchup at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday where they await the winner of the Seneca Valley-Upper St. Clair contest to be played on Tuesday.
North Allegheny is vying for a second straight WPIAL crown and fourth in the last five seasons. The 2021 WPIAL championship will be held on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Robert Morris University’s UPMC Events Center.
