NA Picks Up Win on Senior Night
In a rout at Newman Stadium, the North Allegheny field hockey team took the fire out of the Allderdice Dragons with a 15-0 victory on Monday night. Juniors Izzy Ingram and Hailey Wachowiak each tallied a hat trick on the blowout win on Senior Night. In a one-sided affair, North Allegheny outshot Allderdice, 25-0.
Ingram scored the first two goals of the evening in the first six minutes of the game. Seniors Kayley Cooper and Sam Marien also scored two goals apiece. Also touching the scoresheet were Bridget Russell, Angie Genter, Tristan Laughrey and Laura Schwendeman with markers on the night.
Senior Kali Kugler started in goal and got the win.
North Allegheny improves to 7-5-1 overall and 3-2 on WPIAL Division I. Allerdice remains winless in section play at 0-5. The Lady Tigers visit Upper St. Clair tonight in another section contest.
