North Allegheny Overwhelms Allderdice, 12-0
Seven different players scored goals for North Allegheny as the Tigers ambushed the Allderdice Dragons on Thursday night, 12-0, at Newman Stadium.
NA began its bombardment of the Allderdice net from the outset in a heavily one-sided game. Leading the offensive charge was senior Hailey Wachowiak with a four-goal performance. Juniors Marisa Hess and Katie Evancho netted a pair of goals each. Also touching the scoresheet were freshman Sofia Mianzo, and juniors Izzy Ingram, Ella Strzempek and Miarra Misutka with one goal apiece.
The WPIAL Division I victory improves North Allegheny’s section record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers are 6-8-1 overall. NA will host Hempfield on Wednesday for senior night at 7:30 p.m.
