Playoff Bound Tigers Smack Hampton, 5-0
Finishing up their Section 2-AAA schedule in convincing fashion, the North Allegheny Boys Soccer Team blanked the Hampton Talbots on Monday night, 5-0, at Newman Stadium. The Tigers were led by senior Nick Jewell and junior Kevin Dougherty who scored two goals apiece.
North Allegheny finishes their section schedule in a tie for second place with the Butler Golden Tornado, both owning an 8-4 record. Hampton drops to 5-7 in section play and 7-8 overall. The playoff bound Tigers are 12-4 overall and will visit Norwin in a non-section game on Wednesday night. Kickoff is at 7:30 pm. The WPIAL playoff pairings will be announced on Wednesday.
