Postseason Accolades For NA Girls’ Soccer Players
The NA Tigers Girls Soccer Team had five players selected to the All-Section 2 team. Named to the team were seniors Amanda Miller, Gabby Smychynsky, Morgan Tresser, Marina Thornton and junior Cara Schwartz. Also Smychynsky was named to the WPIAL Class AAA All-Star Team, and Miller was named to the WPIAL Class AAA All-Star Team and the All-State Team. The four seniors have also been invited to play in the Western Pennsylvania High School Girls Soccer Coaches Association Senior All Star Soccer Game on Saturday, December 6th at the SportTrak in Sewickley.
The Tigers tied for first place in Section 2-AAA this fall with a section record of 10-2-0 and an overall record of 12-5-1. They lost in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs to Mt. Lebanon.
