North Allegheny advanced the lead to 2-0 with 1:51 remaining in the first period when freshman Trey Gallo scored, assisted by Collin O’Neill and Luke Washabaugh.

After a scoreless second period, the Tigers tacked on one more goal in third period thanks to a Tyler Sippel goal for a 3-0 lead and victory. The final marker was assisted by Hart and Christopher Hanlon.

Following the season-opening win, North Allegheny will return to the ice on Oct. 17 with a home game against Central Catholic.
