Scott Fitzgerald Tabs John Carroll University To Continue Golf Career
North Allegheny senior Scott Fitzgerald has signed his letter of intent to continue his golf and academic career at Division III John Carroll University in Ohio.
Fitzgerald was a team leader for North Allegheny during the 2019 season and reached the WPIAL Class individual semifinals with his stellar performance. Fitzgerald qualified for the semifinals by shooting a 77 at the WPIAL qualifier on September 16 at Hiland Golf Course.
In August of 2018, Fitzgerald accomplished the rare feat of shooting a 3-under par on the 15th hole at Lakevue North Golf Course. The 15th hole is a 445-yard par 5.
Fitzgerald will major in Finance at John Carroll. He is pictured above with parents Scott and Sheri, sister Kylie and North Allegheny head coach Pat Niven.
