Sofia Mianzo’s Hat Trick Leads NA Past Fox Chapel, 3-0
The North Allegheny field hockey team won its third in a row, and fourth in the last five games, with a 3-0 road shutout at Fox Chapel.
The Tigers earned the non-section win thanks to a hat trick by junior Sofia Mianzo, giving her nine goals on the season. Mianzo’s goals came in the second, third and fourth periods.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 10-6 overall on the season. The Tigers return to section play with a visit to Norwin on Monday.
