Tigers Drop First of the Season With Road Loss At Penn-Trafford

The North Allegheny girls’ soccer team dropped its first game of the season on Monday night with a 3-0 non-section loss at Penn-Trafford.

The Tigers controlled possession in the contest but Penn-Trafford controlled the scoreboard with two first half goals and more in the second half to earn the win. Goals for the Warriors were scored by Emma Rain, Malia Kearns and Sarah Nguyen. Goalie Megan Giesey played well in net and earned the shutout for Penn-Trafford.

North Allegheny dips to 3-1 overall on the season, while Penn-Trafford improves to 3-1. The Tigers will take on Seneca Valley on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. The contest will be broadcast live via the internet by the North Allegheny Sports Network.
