Tigers Edged By Seneca Valley In Section Play, 208-209
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team was narrowly edged by section leader Seneca Valley on Thursday afternoon, 208-209. This heated battle came down to the last group of golfers. In the two meetings between NA and SV this season, the Raiders won both contests by total of four strokes.
The Tigers were paced by junior Adam Steinmetz with a 4-over 39 at Diamond Run Golf Club. The Raiders team leader was Nolan Nica, who also posted a 39.
Following the loss, North Allegheny falls to 6-4 overall and 3-3 in the section. The Tigers have the next few days off before hosting Shaler on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
