Tigers Trounce Titans, 5-0
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team bounced back into the win column on Friday afternoon with a 5-0 section sweep of the Shaler Titans.
It was dominating performance by the Lady Tigers as all three singles players, Ashley Huang, Ella Sinciline and Jenny Zhou, picked up wins by 6-0, 6-0 scores. That was the identical margin for the No. 1 doubles team of Claire Shao and Riya Yadav as well. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Shria Moturi and Grace Lee claimed a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
North Allegheny improves to 9-2-1 overall and 6-1 in section play. The Lady Tigers will host North Hills on Monday in another section matchup.
