Tigers Vanquish Warriors, 176-184
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team traveled to Irwin Country Club on Tuesday afternoon and earned a 176-184 non-section victory over Penn-Trafford.
The Tigers were paced by freshman Katie Rose Rankin with a team-low score of 42. Senior Bella Walter posted a 43, followed closely behind by senior Esha Vaidya with a 44. Junior Olivia Schenk rounded out the scoring with a 47. Penn-Trafford had the low scorer of the day as Lauren Barber shot a 36.
With the victory, North Allegheny leaps to 7-3 on the season. The Tigers return to section play with a home meet with Seneca Valley on Thursday at 2:45 p.m.
