4 Rowers pen Letter of Intent
Four North Allegheny rowers signed national letters of intent to continue rowing at the colligate level on Monday afternoon. Lauren Keyser signed with West Virginia University while Abigail Berger, Madison Lambert and Katherine Zema all officially committed to Duquesne University.
Keyser was a 2024 MSRA Scholastic Honor Roll Honorable Mention performer. For the 2024-2025 season, Keyser has been the 8+ crew coxswain. They have had two top six finishes coming in fifth place at the Head of Ohio and sixth place at the Head of Muskingum Regatta. She will major in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics at WVU.
Berger will be heading to Duquesne to major in their Physician Assistant Program. She has been apart of the 4+ crew for the 2024-2025 season. The quartet had a 10th place finish at the Head of Ohio.
Zema made the Women’s Sculling second team MSRA All-Region team in 2024 along with being a part of the 2024 MSRA Scholastic Honor Roll. She has been a part of the 4x crew in 2024-2025 where they have finished in second at the Head of Ohio, won the Head of Muskingum and took home the bronze at the Blake Haxton Regatta. She will major in accounting at Duquesne.
Lambert was a first team MSRA All-Region member last season in the Women’s Sweep. She is a part of the same 4x crew that Zema is that has had first, second and third place finishes in the 2024-2025 season. Lambert will major in Biochemistry at Duquesne.
