Tigers Defeat North Hills, 201-228
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team hosted North Hills on Thursday afternoon and picked up a 201-228 section victory.
The Tigers were led by senior Adam Steinmetz with a 2-under par 34. Senior J.J. Dopkosky shot a 39, followed by freshman Collin Wang with 42. Seniors Peter Canovali and Cody Lubic each posted a score of 43. North Hills was paced by Tyler Manfred’s 39.
The win moves North Allegheny to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the section. The Tigers will visit Shaler on Tuesday for a quad-match also involving Pine-Richland and North Hills.
