Cross Country Wraps Up Section Meets With Victories
The North Allegheny cross country team traveled to Butler on Tuesday afternoon to wrap up the section dual meets for the season as NA raced the Pine-Richland Rams and host Golden Tornado. After altering the course to avoid some yellow jackets in the woods, NAXC came away victorious in all matchups.
The North Allegheny boys defeated Butler 16-46, and topped Pine-Richland by the same score of 16-46. The top finishers for the black and gold were Jacob Greco, Jacob Stupak, Sam Blechman, T.J. Robinson, Zack Deible, Mark Hartigan and Clark Smith.
The Lady Tigers bested Butler 23-33 and defeated Pine-Richland 19-40. The top finishers for the NA girls were Clara Savchik, Ally Meehan, Kara Daggett, Madissen Steiner, Tess Wright, Caroline Silay, and Jennifer Corral.
North Allegheny Cross Country will take some time off before the Tri State Invitational on Thursday, October 22.
