Field Hockey competes in Novi, Michigan over the weekend
The North Allegheny field hockey team spent the weekend in Novi, Michigan to compete with some of the top teams in the state of Michigan.
On Friday afternoon the Tigers battled Ann Arbor Pioneer (MI) at the University of Michigan. Kayla Joyce made 17 saves in the match but Ann Arbor Pioneer won by a score of 7-0. On Saturday, the Tigers took on the host team in Novi (MI). After a scoreless first quarter, Novi got two on the board in the second quarter and led 2-0 at halftime. Novi would get one more score in the fourth quarter to come away with the 3-0 victory. Joyce made 20 saves in the match.
North Allegheny falls to 3-6 overall. The Tigers return to Pennsylvania and section play on Thursday when they host Mt. Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. at the North Allegheny Intermediate High School
