Girls Golf falls in playoff
For the second consecutive match, North Allegheny found themselves tied after regulation, this time with Mars, 177-177. Kayli Dings, Kirsten Karlovits and Omisa Shah competed in the 3-person playoff but the Tigers would fall short this time dropping their first section match of the season.
Dings led the Tigers shooting a 38. Shah and Karlovits each carded a 45 for NA while Grace Means shot a 49. Alessandra Habib added a 57.
Elise Watas led Mars with a 38.
North Allegheny falls to 7-2 overall and 6-1 in the section. Mars improves to 5-4 overall and 4-4 in the section. The Tigers return to action on Friday when they head to Butler to take on the Fighting Tornado at Hiland Golf Course at 1:30 p.m.
