Isaacs Bows Out At WPIAL Singles
Indoors at The Club in Monroeville due to rainy weather, the WPIAL conducted its Boys AAA Singles Tennis Tournament Monday afternoon. NA’s representative was senior Kylie Isaacs, the number three finisher in the Section 2 Singles Tournament last week. She drew a 13th seed and faced off against the 3rd seed, Chad Kisell, from Latrobe in the first round. Kissell, the Section 1 champion, demonstrated his all-around skills in the match while Isaacs gamely counteracted his power game by keeping him on the move. In the end, Kissell prevailed 10-4 in the preliminary set to move on to the quarterfinal round. Congratulations to Kylie for her representation of North Allegheny tennis.
