It was a fun-filled week for the participants in North Allegheny’s Just for Girls Summer Sports Camp, which was held from August 7 to 11 at Marshall Middle School and the Senior High School.

More than 135 girls in the second through the eighth grades took part in the camp, which included sessions designed to introduce the campers to the various sports offered by the District. Coaches and players from the Tiger softball, field hockey, volleyball, lacrosse, swimming, tennis, track and field and basketball took part in the camp.  There were also sessions in flag football and self-defense.

A special thanks goes out to camp coordinators Allison Radi Vaupel and Michelle Ruiz and our camp volunteers for their work throughout the week.
