Lady Tigers Blast Butler, 61-29
The North Allegheny girls’ basketball team blasted the Butler Golden Tornado on Monday night, 61-29, in Section 3-AAAA play. Ten Tigers scored points in a complete team win. Sophomore Piper Morningstar poured in a game-high 14 points. Seniors Abby Gonzales and Taylor Lake added nine points each.
The Tigers defense forced Butler into 23 turnovers as NA built a 44-15 lead by halftime. North Allegheny cruised in the second half to remain undefeated in section play with a 4-0 mark. The Lady Tigers sit at 6-1 overall. Butler remains winless at 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the section. North Allegheny hosts Mars on Tuesday night at 7:30 pm.
