Lady Tigers Blast Off Against Mars, Blank Planets
The North Allegheny girls’ tennis team overpowered a helpless foe on Monday afternoon, blanking the Mars Planets by a 5-0 decision. In doubles play, the Lady Tigers swept the action with a pair of 6-0, 6-0, victories. Eugenia Lee and Tristyn Maalouf topped Camile Lipkins and Emily Paras, while Elena Kolano and Riya Yadar defeated Anna Belle Harsel and Maddy Lussier.
In singles play, Tina Li and Ashley Huang garnered 6-0, 6-0, wins over their opponents. At #1 singles, Anna Li downed Amelia Haley, 6-0, 6-1.
North Allegheny improves to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the section. The Lady Tigers will compete at the Section Singles tournament at NASH on Tuesday.
