Lady Tigers Bow Out Of PIAA Playoffs
The North Allegheny Girls’ Volleyball Team dropped a 3-1 decision to the Landisville Hempfield Black Knights on Saturday afternoon in the PIAA quarterfinals. The Tigers won the first set 25-23, but the two-time defending PIAA champions won three straight sets to win the match and advance to the state semifinals to face the Baldwin Highlanders. The Lady Tigers conclude another successful campaign with a 14-8 overall record and finished as the runners-up in the WPIAL.
