Lady Tigers Continue Winning Ways With Win Over Rams
The Lady Tigers traveled to The Conley’s Resort and won a section match against the Pine-Richland Rams on Tuesday afternoon, 156-182. North Allegheny was led by freshmen phenoms Caroline Wrigley and Christina Lewis who shot a pair of 37’s. Junior Jessica Hood posted the best score of her career with a 41. Senior Megan Leto added a 41 and sophomore Jordan Farrell pitched in with a 44.
Pine-Richland was paced by freshman Lauren Freyvogel who shot a sparkling 31. With three freshman shooting in the 30’s, it shows the potential for some competitive matches in the future between these two teams.
North Allegheny improves to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in section action. The Tigers have two more matches this week with Mt. Lebanon on Thursday and Norwin on Friday.
