Lady Tigers Fall In Section Duel With Shady Side Academy
North Allegheny dropped a close section match to a strong Shady Side Academy team, 187-192, on Thursday afternoon at the Fox Chapel Golf Club. The Fox Chapel course is the site of the Constellation PGA Senior Tour Major Championship.
Junior Megan Leto shot a season-low score of 37, highlighted by three birdies. Sophie Lee added a 45, while Jesse Pak and Jessica Hood both shot a 55. Meghan Walsh rounded out the scoring for the Lady Tigers with a 73. Shady Side was paced by Casey Morrow’s score of 41.
North Allegheny falls to 8-4-1 overall and 2-3 in section play following the loss. The Lady Tigers will joust with the Norwin Knights on Tuesday in a non-section match from Shannopin at 4:30 pm.
